Wavelength implemented visual effects and animated sequences for the artist Grace Weir in her film ‘A reflection on light’. The entire film unfolds in one single continuous shot, which is made up of disparate footage and imagery, bound together by the effects and animation.

In the excerpt shown here, a combination of 3d layers and motion tracking were used to create an artificial reflection in the mirror, and to artificially create and animate the photograph in the frame on the mantlepiece. More detail on the film can be viewed on Grace Weir’s website.
